It’s been a challenging year for all of us, yet, I hope this, our very first blog post, finds you well and in good spirits.

One of the requirements of the City of Cape Town is that all City Improvement Districts ( CID’s), have a website with all information and documentation relevant to the CID available and accessible to all residents and members. 

We decided to use the website as a way to show off some of the beautiful photographs of our neighborhood taken by many of our residents, advertise some of our very talented Mount Rhodes resident’s entrepreneurial skills and small businesses and keep everyone up to date with any CID issues and actions.

We are very grateful to Neil Jansson who has taken time out of his busy film making schedule to design and put together our website. Thank you for all your patience and support in getting it up and running!

We do hope that the newsletter will further enable a sense of community.

People who would like to advertise their local small business or services offered or contribute to the blog with interesting news, stories or photographs are more than welcome to get in touch. We hope everyone will embrace the website as a welcoming community space.
