Twenty five years after graduating together from UCT as civil/structural engineers, Dave Pitt and Ian Jackson have merged their respective businesses to trade as Bay Consulting Engineers. Ian currently works in Hout Bay and Dave in Still Bay, hence the name Bay Consulting Engineers.
Together they specialise in the design of :
• Reinforced concrete, steel and timber frame structures
• Roads & engineering services
• Onshore and offshore marine pipelines
The partners have extensive experience, both locally and abroad, with large international companies; Dave in Africa, the U.K., Middle East and SE Asia, and Ian in Africa and the Middle East.
Dave and Ian share a passion for meeting technical engineering challenges, providing professional services and satisfying clients’ needs.
Civil engineering projects typically involve the design and contract administration for the development of residential townships and/or retail shopping centres.
